Political Science is the study of governance and politics. However, within a political science degree there are often different tracks you can choose from and then take classes within that track (such as pre-law, government, or international affairs). In order to earn your degree there are a few required classes within the major, general education requirements, and then a credit requirement wherein you choose which classes interest you most. Most political science classes are founded on lots of reading and writing.
